Description

This deep red long jacket is inspired by the romance of Princess Zaibunnisa and Akhil Khan. Mughal miniature art guides the design, with the princess illustrated on one flap and her beloved on the other.

Their secret garden meetings are imagined across the fabric, surrounded by peacocks, trees, and blooming flowers, creating a sense of movement and intimacy. Each element is carefully composed to tell a story of love both fleeting and eternal, capturing the beauty and intensity of a romance that history remembers for its tragedy and grace.
